So, bought a couple of new decoys today.

they should go well with my new Primos Alpha Dogg caller

bought this one for fox shooting

and this one I think will work well with crows, as they love to mob foxes

Whats also nice is "waddingtons" extra smooth bitter, that's about my favourite if I ever drink beer, but I'm more a wine drinker, French Bordeaux red and Chablis are my favourites

So, they arrived today, and must admit, can't wait for some dry weather, then the fields will slowly dry (you sink to your on knees on the TOP of hills in the fields at the moment). It it's been raining NON STOP since May last year, day in, day out, never hadd a Dury spell of langer than 2-3 days in a month since then cry

so we need at least 3 weeks of reasonably drware anther, and then MAYBE some of the ground water will drain away, and we can get out shooting again

As it continues to rain; pretty soon, you will come to the realization that you should have some waterfowl gear as backupbiggrin.

Yup, but duck season has come and gone, so have to wait till end of sept again

just hoping for at least 3 weeks of dry weather.

was supposed to be the start of a dry period of at least 7-10 days today, and instead has rained all day.

they couldn't forecast sex in a knocking shop here

Let me guess. A "knocking shop" is where one might find ahem, companionship, at a price?

Just attempting to decipher our friends' dialects across the pond.....smile

LMAO!   The last time I heard the phrase "knocking shop," I was drinking in Piccadilly Circus with a bloke from Liverpool. His name is Kev also, he introduced me to John Smith's Extra Smooth. It is my favorite beer ever, the sad thing is, I can't find it anywhere here in the states.
