My new foxing lamp just arrived. Its the Dereelight Night Master NM800 in Red LED. I got the large kit, and ordered a remote switch with it too (extra). Standard it came with the torch, and extention tube for fitting an extra battery (needed when using coloured LED), a set of TWO x 18650 lithium ION batteries, a charger, and a high mount that is QD. The batteries are 2800 mh, which give enough power for a 4-5 hour shooting spree, BUT, I decided I would swap them out for some 4000 mh that I had lying around here, and that should give me 6-7 hours I reckon. But I can carry the two original batteries as spares, as there is a handy plastic case for them included. Looking at the remote switch, I wouldn't recommend it, as it doesn't com with any double sided tape to mount it, so would just hang there.

So, back in. No foxes appeared tonight, but yep, wasn't really expecting any, just went out more in hope than anything. The farmer decided to slurry spray all his fields today, and only left a single field right to the side free of slurry where I positioned myself. However despite calling lots, with all the different calls, and when using mating call, getting called back, none would cross from the woods to me, as they would have had to cross the slurry fields, and even they didnt fancy that Then when I went to drive away, was stuck, so had to work it free, drive onto the field, and come through the gate at a rate of knots as the ice was really bad (minus 3) Ahh well, back home, and now having a hot cuppa
