i think it has to be a browning, rem 11's never had a gold trigger and that engraving on top the receiver towards the shooter.

Good eye, A5 with the gold trigger would have been a "Light Twelve".

Yall are right, It's a light twelve with a 30"rabbit track belgium barrel in full choke. It's a sweet shot gun. The only thing I don't like about it that is shines like new money. Sometimes wish it was camo but it's too nice to camo. Love to shoot those crows with it. It'll reach out and touch'em.

My dad has one he bought new in 1960 just before he got married. As yours, a full choked 30 inch barrel and in pristine condition. I've shot crows with it but found it choked a bit too tight for this applicationsmile.

yes they really are amazing shotguns to say the least, mines a '58 model with 28inch mod and i also have full...they will get out a loong way for a 2 3/4 gun.

On a shiny gun that I don't want to camouflage, I wipe it down with wax. A paste wax, rubbed on lightly will just knock the glare down on metal and wood without harming it. Also adds a little protection against moisture.
