Thanks for reminding me about eBay! I'll also check out the local Micheal's here in PA to see what they may have left. Will probably have to wait until fall season for them to come back out.
From my eBay search, I ran across these two, which do you think would work best?
YES!!! This IS the crow.. the single decoy.. I own and use when I can! I promise crows react to this guy differently than any other decoy I have seen used. Of course I do not know for sure, but I think the feathers fool them--he looks quit real and alive. Sure, dead crows make pretty good decoys too but this Amazon bird is different! I agree $40 is high.. too high. I think many of us..with a little handi-work could produce one using crow feathers as was done with this one.

The good thing about this Amazon crow is the flocking is very durable. I've had mine for about 5 years and the flocking is still perfect.
I have one of those sitting in my shed -- my wife bought it somewhere, but $40 is ridiculous. It's not really made for outdoors. I tried to "feather" some full-sized Flambeau, but it was a pain, and just went back to flocking them. However, they are ridiculously expensive, too - $8/each.
I found these for $2.66 each and free shipping. Had to do that!! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000APQEU0/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
My new plan is to modify them -- I cut off the peg and cut a 3/4" wide slot in the bottom. I drilled 4 holes in the back of the decoy about an inch apart, and made stakes with peg on top to fit through hole. Gives it various positions, and balance lets them move slightly in wind.
Season is over here, so I've been making semi-portable blinds and messing with decoys.

Crow breeding season here....I would go with the one in the yellow dress........we were going to put lipstick on our decoys the last day of season to see if that helped...
I was checking online for Michael's Arts and they don't have anything for sell yet since this "seasonal". I guess have to wait for fall to see if they restock. This is better for me as I won't be able to start any hunting until after the summer fishing season. Also, maybe the rifle & shotgun ammo will have time to get on the shelves again. I was at Cabelas last weekend and the shelves were pretty much bear except for .30-06, .300Win, .308 & some odd/uncommon rifle calibers. Very little shotgun and hardly any handgun ammo. I was really shocked to see absolutely no .22 or .22-250 - they even had a sign which they only limit .22cal of only 2 boxes of 50 rnds, or 1 box of 100 rnds. Needless to say, there was nothing in .22 rifle of any load. There as a little bit of .17hmr. Once I got home, I checked online & I could find what I wanted, if I wanted to order & it was not listed as backorder/out of stock - so there may be an option other than off the shelves.
