I already have two callers and wanting to get away from the speaker cords. I've been looking at this hellfire and wondering if anybody has used one. I'm going to purchase the rechargeable batteries and charger. wondering what the battery life is and they say it can be programed with custom sounds. would like to have it programed with Bob's sounds. Is that possible. Looking at getting it from allpedatorcalls.com. Thanks for any input
Durn, and I thought a "Hellfire" was a type of missile system! For a few brief seconds, I had visions of mounting surface to air weapons on a Chevy pick-up, backing up to a roost, and really making a dent in the crow population. Oh well, I always believed that Thomas Edison developed electrical power to zap the crows rifling his metal garbage cans.

Your selection of a FoxPro product is the right choice in the experience of the Texas Crow Patrol. We have not used their HellFire but have extensive experience afield with the FX3, FX5, Fury, Fury II, Snow Crow Pro I, Snow Crow Pro II, and Prairie Blaster models. Two of us have recently upgraded to their Shockwave and will be using those versatile devices a lot this fall.
They build wonderfully reliable and innovative products for us right here in the US and stand behind them with the fastest, best service anywhere. If, and when, you decide to get a more powerful unit, you will find a ready secendhand market to sell your Hellfire. Used ones are routinely sold on the FoxPro forum (www.gofoxpro.com) and I have sold mine on the Texas Hunting Forum (www.TexasHuntingForum.com).
We have used a number of other manufactures ecallers, and none compare with FoxPro.
Try the Johnny Stewart Crow Sounds - Owl and Crow Fight, Death Cry of the Crow and Come Here Crow, as those are superior. You can occassionally find them on CD (Crow Calls Volume 1) at eBay and other on-line sellers.
Thanks Gadget Bob. The two callers I have now are Johnny Stewart cassette players witch one of them is a antique. My go to tape is the hawk and crow fight(there's a lot of hawks in the area) and the death cry. Hope to get them both on this new unit.

Good Luck and Good Hunting,
GB's advice is spot on, those J/S sounds are the gold standard of electronic crow calling sounds, I would add the J/S Single Excited Crow to that list. Everything else is pretty much a waste of time and money.
I have a Foxpro Spitfire that unfortunately has not proved to be very reliable. I only used it a few times and now it refuses to make any sounds. That being said, I have to say that an email to Foxpro resulted in a quick reply and they sent me a replacement memory card as that seemed to be the issue. From my email to getting the card took maybe 3 days. The card did not work so I emailed them last night and already I have a reply. They have to take a look at it but their customer service is probably the best I have ever seen. I am not saying that their equipment if not dependable and I understand that sometimes things just stop working for the strangest reasons and when you have a circuit board the smallest thing could cause a problem. I would not be deterred from buying another Foxpro as from all that I read my experience is not typical.
But if you do have a problem you can be assured that they will respnd quickly and do all that they could to help you resolve the problem.
