Back at the crows again this morning. Just got started when I noticed a truck pull up and stop alongside mine which was parked along a rural grid road. Put the glasses on to see some dude messing around with my vehicle. I then humped it back the 500 or so yards to catch this person deflating my front drivers tire for some unknown reason.
A shouting match ensued and I threatened to have the police come by and charge the guy with vandalizing my truck if he didn't rectify the situation. It seems he took it upon himself to cause trouble as my vehicle was parked there for several mornings. Further I contacted the true landowner who had given me verbal permission to shoot all the crows there I can.
The whole thing was a misunderstanding. He re-inflated my tire and my truck was back to the way I left it when I later returned. Apparently this person had some items stolen from his property and in some kind of juvenile intellect took it upon himself to use me as a scapegoat of sorts.
I did shoot some crows but lost the most valuable hour of the day due to the above. Pic of sunrise and an unfortunate visitor.
Wow!! Guess none of could say for sure unless we were in your shoes......but I can say that I would not have taken that well. At 51 yrs old, I am still 6'0" tall and 225lbs, and.......well.......lets just say Kudos to you for handling a ugly situation the appropriate way. That couldn't have been a easy thing to do !!!!
