Picked up 53 today along with 3 squirrels.. The orchard has 300 trees but only 3 trees have nuts.. Shot with the manager's 12 year old grandson.. After a while he got the hang of it and started killing a few.. Lots of call shy birds that flared off at 200 yds or so.. Fun day..

This crows talon has some type of growth on his left talon.. Last year we had two other crows at this location with growths / deformities on their talons..

This location was a difficult spot to set up.. This side of the knoll was the best place with sun to back and crows seeing decoys etc..The landscape is very hilly and a huge lake is very close by..
