Click on "Search" above and type in "calls." Bob names several that he likes, and he's the master. There are a bunch of opinions on this. I use the e-caller backed up with hand calls, but my "go to" call that I know will sound good on the first note is the Faulks C-50.
I also bought a handmade call from Lonehowl on this site that I like a lot, but it is also a beautiful piece.
I have learned to work my e-caller with a great variety of sounds and the pause button to carry on pretty decent "conversations" with crows.
I have a flextone echo e caller that has a few crow sounds on it, Mobbing crows, Adult crow distress, baby crow distress, and alarming crows. I usually use the mobbing crows, then if they hang up I'll switch over to adult crow distress and they'll drop right in. But after that first round of shots they just won't respond anymore. Or sometimes they just won't respond to it at all. It works, but you can't add anymore sounds to it.
I can talk them into range with my MAD call hand call but I just don't think it sounds the way it should.
I'm stuck choosing between the two Gibson calls and the Jack Mincey call. I like the Mincey because of the looks of it but which sounds better?
I do not have a Gibson or Mincey, but Bob endorses them both. If you build or buy another e-caller, try to get some friendly "confidence" sounds on it. What you describe are all aggressive "fighting" sounds, and that could be short-lived. I kind of use the fighting sounds as a last resort once I've had some shots, and things cool off from the early morning (or in run and gunning). Hopefully, there are also some dead crows in your spread, and the crows will come in a bit upset.
I just got the Jack Mincey and it is a very nice sounding call. Before getting it, I was using cheap plastic turkey locator calls that sounded ok, but definitely not as good as the JM. Can't comment on the Faulks, Gibson, or mallardtone.
I got a Gibson this Christmas which I am hoping to take out this weekend. I like the sound, loud with nice tones. My "go to" favorites have been a Hydel TC87 and Lohman Gold Series. I carry three other types which I mix in once in a while for variance and one specifically for long distance or calling into the wind, attention getters. I am sure the Gibson is going to get a lot of use with my other two favorites.

Faulk, Lohman, Mallardtone, Gibson and Mincey all make good sounding calls.
Now if you want a custom call that sounds great I would get either a Mincey or a Gibson because they both make the barrels of the calls out of very pretty wood.

Looks like I'm gonna go with the Faulks Zebrawood C50. I said price doesn't matter but for $15 and all the good reviews I'm gonna get it. Also, getting some decoys from the same place. Then maybe a Fox Pro Wildfire in just a few weeks. Hopefully before season ends.
