I have had a Jack Mincey call for about a year now. In Pa., the season lasts from July to the beginning of April. Last year the call worked great, no matter how much I called, but this year for some reason, after about a minute of calling with that call, it gums up. I didn't use it during the summer, I just had it hanging on my wall with my other calls. Is there any way for me to have it stop gumming up?
I just sent you a PM. I would first take out the mouth piece and check it for some type of debris. Some times the reed can be flipped and it fixes problems with the call as well. If this doesn't correct your issue make sure and check the PM.
