Doing our part here in North Carolina enforcing no fly zones...had a great day here over peanuts...no wind...with sun at our backs and shade in our favor we were able to stay very concealed and staying concealed as you know is key to high TBC...the average shot was 25 yds. some closer some further...I'm shooting RIO 1250 fps 1 1/8oz 7.5...many of the crows we killed entered the kill box with peanuts in there beaks...it was a nice visual to see a starburst of peanuts peanut hulls and feathers when intercepted by a payload of 7.5's...there were also some very close kill shots that afforded visual chunks of crow separating for the main fuselage...hope every one enjoys high TBC in 2014...all the best...Crowtec

Crowtec,

Your a man after my own heart! Outstanding photo!

How long did it take you to set up that photo? Were you solo or with another shooter?

How many crows have you shot this season so far; are you done yet or still hunting them? Do you just hunt crows during the fall & winter months?

What make & model shotgun do you use?

When was this photo taken? Note, I said "when" not where, LOL.

Bob A.

P.S. you can pm me if you do not want to talk on an open board.

That is awesome Crotec. You are fortunate to have so many crows and live in a place with agriculture where you can hunt like that. Sadly farms around here have gone the way of the Dodo bird. If we have a poor spring migration of birds headed north I will now know why, they all died in NC

CT, Fantastic shooting.. Wow , excellet work and beautifl set up with the 351 picture!!!!I would say with your skill level and age ( as far as I can tell) a record (150K) may be broken by you before too long.. Keep up the good shooting and good luck with that record...

Hi David (aka - Enforcement Droid - 209),

Your enforcement of crow no fly zones is taken to the highest level, indeed! As in did you tell some of those peanut bandits to "Please put down your weapon you have twenty seconds to comply."

Fantastic results and wonderful shooting.  This total is 100+ crows higher than our best daily result, we will endeavor to do better in the future.

Thanks for posting and take care,

One thing you can count on, all records are meant to be broken.

"For over a thousand years Roman conquerors returning from the wars enjoyed the honor of triumph, a tumultuous parade. In the procession came trumpeteers, musicians and strange animals from conquered territories, together with carts laden with treasure and captured armaments. The conquerors rode in a triumphal chariot, the dazed prisoners walking in chains before him. Sometimes his children robed in white stood with him in the chariot or rode the trace horses. A slave stood behind the conqueror holding a golden crown and whispering in his ear a warning: that all glory is fleeting."

Bravo Crowtec! A job well done. Nothing beats "ventilating" crows with a 12 gauge at close range. Almost as much fun as dropping our sable quarry from noose bleed heights! Thank you for posting and please continue as your campaign continues.
