me + my buddy Bo Allen entered the Burlington Place 1st annual Wyoming crow hunt Saturday.
The day started off cold about 10 degrees + sunny, dawn broke + they started flying. we had built little blind in some trees the night before but had not noticed how many limbs were above us.
too late to build another blind so we had to shoot thru the limbs the best we could. Most of the day the foxpro sound "Crows" worked the best, + we tried alot of different ones. We shot 7.5s
all day + made some shots that i think some guys would not have tried. 18 flocked flambeau decoys with 2 hanging in trees about 20ft up.
Sat in that blind from 7:00 till 5:00 + then went to checkin our birds+ this what happened!
I never really believed they had any crows in Wyoming or that general area at all-I never saw any! But to be fair I had to stick to I-80 and didn't see any of the deeper areas far from this highway...was it always like that? I don't need to know the exact area of course. just wondering...
