No elaborate stories today. I had the pleasure of taking my church friend's son, Sam, on his first crow hunt today. We had previously hunted turkey this spring, but it was too late in the season to get one. We'll take care of that during the fall season.
However, today, a couple of bandits obliged us and he came up with one. I've seen him shoot trap before and he was pretty good. I was handling the Spitfire and we each got one.
His comments paraphrased: This is a lot different than turkey hunting . Those crows are harder to shoot at than clay pigeons!
I believe we've got ourselves another Crowbuster hooked, I'm pretty sure.
P.S. the new "drop-top" blind and "owl pole" are working good. The pole makes a good camera stand for the self-timer.
