The Thread of the last day or so, "Alabama," (Butch, CP, ElkHunter) caused me to remember a question about FoxPro callers:
I have 19 crow calls loaded on my FoxPro Spitfire, including Bob's package and am wondering if there are other E-calls out there that might be compatible with the Spitfire. Realizing that FoxPro calls' .fxp format is proprietary, is it possible to mix other formats in the total of 24 call spaces on my 2 plus-year-old Spitfire?
Problem is that I've been training the locals in my area so well, that I believe some of the )*&%^&^$#@ old timers know the E-call and do not respond. To me, this means I need to mix in more hand calling (which I'm practicing) and explore some other recorded calls--simply to get some new sounds out there.
(TCP: Purchasing a new $600+ Prairie Blaster 3 or Shock Wave, regrettably, is not an option).

I have a FX3, I have Fox Pros, Bob's, and some Johnny Stewart all loaded on it. Has to be in mp3 form I believe. I was no where near smart enough to do that, but luckily found people who were, and hooked me up.
Do not know if the spitfire is the same format, but I would guess it is. My FX3 is probably 7 years old now...+/-

Buzz:
You might be on to the answer there. i.e., converting the various calls to .mp3 might work well. Like you, I am technologically challenged, but it is likely do-able with some simple equipment.
Foxpro calls will play .fxp, .mp3, and .wav file...........I have some of each loaded on my call, you can put any sound on there as long as you get it converted to one of those 3 formats.
