Set up on a orchard that we have shot twice so far with mixed results, got there a little late and had birds coming at first light before we had everything set up. I killed 2 while my son parked the truck out of frustration of them checking out the set up. Crows surprised us by not being call shy and aggressive, they came in hard wanting to be there and my Son had the hot gun that did a lot of them in. Weather was great 27 degrees at daylight 51 when shooting stopped at around 10 am. Wound up picking up 123, a first for us over the century mark by ourselves. On a side note I had a bug, viral and didn't know it and after 2 visits to ER and 2 bags of fluids am doin better, point is dehydration is bad and I have seen it and had it before in the job I retired from but never to this extent, this slipped up on me quick and put me on my butt. So be careful out there guys! I know I will. Only have one pic and will post later.

Thanks BH and Elk it's been good year for us, didn't realize the time it takes and all the other intangibles to find good spots, With my old job I had the time to scout and I know most hunters don't have this luxury with family and obligations. Plus we got a big jump off of the info from the hunters on here for which I am grateful. As for me getting sick it was my own fault and had to relearn a lesson which I hope I did.
Someone gave me some.. I ended up putting them in my ammo supply by mistake... because, I didn't want to run out of ammo and get the scolding that my buddy Skip received.. Merry Christmas..
