Heya Fellas
After watching some vids, Im confused which way to go...
double barrels or single shot AR .17 HMR
Not trying to start a debate but have used a .22 in the past
shooting rabbits and feral cats which I would also like to do
again one day but immediately need to get into CrowBusting.
So far the double barrels seem easy but cause Im surrounding
in farming land full of tubers and vegetables the locals wouldnt be
too keen me spreading lead or plastic everywhere so thats an issue
for the Double Barrel while not for the single shooter.
Unless there is some kind of ceramic bearings or something bio degradable.
I dont think I can catch 20 per day relying on my skill with a single shooter
but willing to listen to the Gurus here that bring in the bigger numbers for if
I can get 20 of the buggers a day I can make a humble living here.
This is because all the farmers have had and are too old to shoot anything
but booze into their traps by the end of a hard days work. They have had
enough of the damage Crows cause to their crops and the native bird life
had plummeted over the years as these buggers are just too clever
with each generation they are able to stop other birds having successful
eggs or chicks surviving to adulthood. They are a real pest as anywhere.
please help out, Im willing to be totally committed to this hobby to become
a career as I dont have many avenues left for work here besides teaching
languages but prefer to be outdoors all the way than stuck inside.
I was thinking of buying the Alexander Arms AR-15 for ease of use
