Along with the pigeon magnet (whirly) that we often use, these also work brilliantly.
Used with a speed control and timer, they can be used on pigeons and crows alike.
Ideal flapping speeds are pigeon 200-300 flaps a minute, crows 30-60 flaps a minute.
Then on either a timer, or a remote control. This saves battery power, and also is more realistic.
The remote is use with pigeon, as a flapping pigeon sometimes makes it appear they are taking off not landing to other pigeons coming in to land, so I would advise a remote for pigeon, and a timer for crow
they are that good, sometimes we use these INSTEAD of the whirly (birds that have been shot at over a whirly, and missed, can associate a whirly with danger after that)

I have watched vidios wher George Digweed would set up dead crows as flappers. Movement is huge! Few years ago I tried tossing dead crows out of the blind and into the air as crows approached. Results were astounding but not worth putting my shotgun down when decoying was imminent.
