While leaving for work this morning I heard crows in the nearby pecan trees. I've been seeing the first of some fish crows migrating into the area lately, and these were some of those new birds.
The fix was simple...pick up my Beretta, shells and earplugs. Walk to the truck where my FoxPro was and turn it on. Stand under a nearby tree and hope for the best as I was being watched and couldn't put out decoys.
In a few minutes the fun was over. Landed 12 crows that were mostly fish crows. See picture below.
Afterwards, pick up the hulls and dead birds, go to work with a smile on my face!
