It's that time of year And the pumpkins here are starting to be picked. Have any of you ever hunted over a pumpkin patch? I am assuming they should be good but have no clue.

Crows are oppurtunists...and the easier the better!  They will fight almost anything for a bite to eat in winter...!! They love road kill...so pumpkins? Oh certainly!

Good to hear. I have a charity trap shoot Saturday so I might swing by a few on the way back and see about hunting on them.

I've never noticed crows in a pumpkin patch... But, as Motion said they are omnivores so I'm sure they would feed on Pumpkins.. around here a cantelope grower lost his crop to deer. The deer would bust the cantelope open with their hooves and then eat the cantelope.. then the crows would come in and feed on the damaged cantelopes.. $22k in damage..

Wee shoot doves just across from the cantelope field.. check out this doves crop.. Sunflower and Corn..We harvested him this past Sunday.

Yeah I have a place that I am really excited about hunting as soon as he picks his corn. He has a feed lot with about 200 head of cattle grows about 100 acres of corn and the entire farm is backed up to the river where the the corn field is at. Hoping it produces well this year.
