Had my first hunt of the year yesterday. Was pretty good for a early season hunt. We picked up 89. No pictures sorry. There weren't that many birds down in the area yet. We shot until about 10:00 and called it quits.

I asked my wife to pack them in the truck for the weekend. And she did get a 870 and a Mossburg. The 870 was my daughters 20 gauge. LOL I just used the Mossy this time.

Just the same, I'd love to have my wife pack the truck every time I went hunting.  biggrinbiggrin

On second thought, it might be the same result because she would rather have me stick around and complete the Honeydew List! That would be one way try to get me to quit hunting so much.  no

Barry,

I think you had better pack your own truck in the future!

I loaded some ammo in the bed of my pickup about three hours ago. The decoys are in there plus my buckets with all my crap inside them. My clothing bag goes in last with a pair of shotguns.

So was your friend from the fire department with you on the 89 bird morning? He is the guy with the nice floors inside his living room, the wood was real red in color.

Actually took a conservation officer with me this time. He really didn't believe I could kill that many crows on a hunt. LOL

Bob,

I should get in a couple of hunts with Brian this fall.

I am still working on my blind setup. I just can't get it just like I want it. Yours is great. I just can't fit that in my truck. LOL
