On and off rain can work out pretty good. Getting out there right before a big rainy front rolls in, can be greatness in my experience. Moderate to heavy steady rain is not good.
Years ago I purchased some quality rain gear and through I would clean up on crows on rainy days. Not so much! They won't be flying.

A light rain is one of my favorite times to shoot them...light misty rain...I swear they cannot see you! Just get cammied up and plenty of ammo and let 'er rip![spoiler]
I will sometimes take a chance if it calls for say a 40% chance of rain and hope I can get my licks in before it starts raining. If it does start while I am in the field I just pack up and head home. I don't like getting my equipment wet.
We haven't done well looking back on my records, especially warm , humid conditions. That said got a call this a:m when I got back to the truck from deer Huntin and owner said he was covered up with them this a:m but I'm gone wait for a better time than this weekend.
By the way the Special early gun hunt was a bust, weather kept folks in I guess. Only heard 2 shots and they were mine, 2 less female coyotes to breed and kill fawns and got a bonus no shoulders between my feet, non poisonous thank the Lord. It's amazing how alert you get after that happens!
