I'm going to buy a benelli montefetro. Question I have is the barrel length 24" or 26". I'm leaning towards the 26" What would you buy?

I would go with the 26. I have a 26" Vinci and its about perfect.

+ 1 on the 26" barrel. The very little you will loose in concealment due to length will more than made up for in balance and performance. Good shooting! Demi

Thanks guys. I should have mentioned that this a 20ga. I have a M2 in a 12ga with a 28" barrel and love it. I just want a benelli with wood now. I think a 20ga with a 26" pipe would work great? ???

We use shotguns, but it's just that very few of us hunt crows with a 20 ga. In my case I don't need the handicap and enjoy the higher TBC's.

Very nice. I have been wanting a Benelli SBE 2 for a while now and have had the money in my hand standing in the store and just can't get myself to drop that much on a gun. I think next time I will just give someone the money tell them what to get and they can go in and get it.

SBE 2s are nice. I see you can get it in wood now! Very sharp gun. I'm kicking around the idea of a Browning Silver lighting? I haven't ran that by the wife yet!!! I'm thinking maybe next year on the silver.

I havent seen one with wood. That would be nice. I already have a stoger i use for almost all my shotgun work that is camo. Would be really nice to have a good wood gun.

I was to till I seen the price! Ouch!! Page 2 you can get a plane Jane wood for like 1400. Not plane Jane but nice wood.
