My two brothers and I where supposed to go to Colorado in Sept for an elk hunt but that seems to have been canceled. After 2 years of them mocking me for hunting crow they finally tried it and saw how fun it was (and they didn't even go on one of my good hunts). I have them talked into heading to kansas for 3-4 days of crow hunting since my Aunt lives in Topeka we will have a place to stay so its a really easy choice. My question to those of you from Kansas is around when is the best time to go for the migration from the northern birds? I know it will vary depending on weather in the north but when do you all notice it usually picks up?
It does have some really good places. I have noticed a lot better areas when i head to Nashville and get down around somerset and more east where its flatter and you see a LOT more corn and beans made. I think its more of just making a trip with all the brothers together and and being a decent distance away from out normal area. Both my brothers seem to be pushing for hogs instead.
