I did a little testing of the SHOTKAM on Friday and thought you might enjoy my results. Ecalling using my FOXPRO Shockwave and used the Browning Maxus with the Metro Barrel to stop a few raiders.
Stone Age; did you see how those birds were led? This is what you need to learn. Truthfully well this fellow had excellent weather conditions but please use this as your guide-your basic guide and you will be surprised and proud!
Am I as good as this fellow? Up front-NO! I don't think so but this is still basically what you might want to do....have fun and all the best to you. And on another note there is always going to be shots you'll have difficulty with. That is my excuse for not shooting more. My scenario is I go in the afternoon-I hate getting up so this places me into the sun. So they come from behind me.At least in this one location. Another location for me it's often to the west only or overhead and for me-very,very difficult. I read where this is a problem for you. In this type of scenario I would get the best calling I could. I wouldn't bother with decoys. The falling crows will attract distant crows so you shouldn't run out. Got to make do with whatever we have.

Now that was a well edited video! Thanks for posting it.
Watching it gave me an itch to get back into some pecan orchards again. At the same time I cringed watching that first bird who escaped behind leaves before reversing direction to escape the carnage. I remember those amazing bird tricks and hope to be as successful in bringing them down as they exit!

Nice to hear from you. Thanks for your praise Butch, TC and Stone Age.
Jason, you would have liked the close in action on this little hunt. No blind needed in the heavy cover I was shooting from in this venue. Ted, I dropped a few with an old Remington 870 on another hunt last Friday morning and it was fun shooting a pump gun at them. The farmer wanted to try out my Metro Maxus.
Demi, you need one of these ShotKam's for capturing your adventures - both hunting and sporting clays.
My new A400 purchased last year came with a certificate for a Tactacam. By the time I got it and figured out how to operate it, the season was over. Sitting unused over the summer, the battery wouldn't take a charge, so nothing was recorded on this last shoot...Dang.
i think I've got it working again, but we'll see. Not being a gadget man, the next obstacle will be getting the videos edited and posted. Stay tuned.

Hiya Bob,
Enjoyed the video very much.
Won't make the SHOT this year as we'll be at Brian's for Christmas holiday and visit his new daughter that's expected later this month or early next.
Just hope he gets home in time from latest trip to Afghanistan.
