Does anybody put these things in trees? It seems like this big metal piece is going to cause some problems. I cannot get the metal piece completely hidden inside the decoy. And also it makes it pretty heavy.
The metal piece keeps the decoy in shape, and also is used to push them into the ground.
If you loft them (I.e. Put them in trees) the metal stake makes sure they stay in the correct position, as otherwise the lightest breeze would have them flipping all over the place and tangling in the branches
they work very well n the ground and also in trees.
