Big movement of crows up north:"Hundreds and hundreds" was the description.....this ought to be wild if they come further south!
On another note: my 11-87 is set up for high brass loads so I am not changing anything and I have the other part to help it feed light loads. Kind of late to change anything anyways so I will just use my BPS should I go out again this year.

I suppose it's possible but I am a bit skeptical.  There is a migration pattern in mid to southeastern NH and the migration has been over for more than two weeks.  Why would you not put the part in your 11-87 Supermag so it will cycle light loads?  It's a pretty easy install.

Well for starters most of my loads are basically heavy.....I gave 90% of my light loads to a friend. Here's where i get the big dummy award; where I go I shoot at-well-possibly way too close.

It's okay to be skeptical. I have been called (by a Boss) "...the most cynical b*****d" he's ever met. But that too is a long story.

Well the 11-87 is the best recoiling fire arm I've every owned. Even with the heavy 5s' I often use in it. Okay why the 5s? Easy I basically got them for free.

Back to the crows; hey this is the same Montreal express I reported a couple of years ago. All in no mans' land. They were seen by someone  who doesn't shoot crows and was amazed I mean this is NH after all and you've seen my  skepticism here too. They'll hang back so to speak so long as that farm cranks out the sludge by the gallons! A good snow fall and they'll be gone like yesterdays' news!

Things are screwy these days. A friend up north reported a huge kettle of late moving Broad wing hawks-how weird is that? He said must have been a hundred! I don't know why just before the season ends western NH suddenly gets a huge influx of crows? I've been reading the NH Audubon rare bird alerts and-are you ready for this-sandhill cranes? Sightings of small groups of ducks known to be primarily west of the MIssiSSippi including various waterfowl species? The Gyrfalcon lives in NH? That is an Artic falcon and I am sure extremely rare this far "south"...all the rare birds were sen during the months of September and October...most of these unusual birds were seen in Rochester and towards Hampton and Rye...? The snow buntings were a huge surprise in the numbers at Hampton...they reported as much as a hundred or better uncommon birds moving through the state-night hawks?
I can't imagine why there are suddenly a huge flock of crows over NH...."hundreds and hundreds" the witness said....while we cannot shoot them in that specific region it is worth a cruise just to see the amazing sight...

I got to learn to shoot at the first opportunity when they are close enough and stop waiting for that perfect shot. This would triple when ever I go out theoretically....assuming I hit them. Everyone generally sees way more crows afield than they actually get an opportunity to shoot at. Generally speaking of course. Everybody is different.

One thing I refuse to do is to say I shot this many when I did not. I refuse to say I saw this many crows when I did not.Understand losing the old stomping grounds was very depressing.  But there are plenty of new areas for me as yet undiscovered. And everybody else in what ever areas you frequent whosoever it concerns. Just wish I was a better shot in those days....
