26 degrees, 72% humidity and 10 to 20 mph winds make an Alabama a:m Crow hunt a challenge. And boy did my son and I stink it up, we shot the worst. I got all the excuses, heavy clothes, cold, birds that did things and flew by like F-16's. But joking aside they put it on us, we had one of those days you just have to laugh it off. Told my son I didnt think I could hit his SUV and it parked. But there were some bright spots to, Son connected on our first " brown and black" crow and we were able to down 99 birds, but honestly this should have ben at least doubled. Shoot I was begging for a soft shot (lol) anyway had a great time together and broke the ice on a piebald that I didn't think would ever happen.
You say you stunk it up, but the truth is that when you down 99 birds you have had an excellent shoot! It's hard to get those numbers by shooting poorly!
And the piebald was icing on your cake! Your bird looks like a 1st cousin to Skip's Brownie!
Great job,
Demi

Thanks for the comments it's was a fun day, got to pull the trigger a lot. Demi it was an excellent shoot, just wanted to be truthful about how poorly we shot, if you'd been there you would have told us we were "stinking it up" The piebald was a nice suprize as we cleaned up, actually never thought we would get one.
