Took a trip South to deer hunt with a couple friends and the last day got a crow hunt in. Things looked promising  as we built blinds the p:m before the hunt, watched about a hundred using the property.  Well things started great and we put about 15 on the ground the it got slow, birds were wary and stopped responding. Sure they had been shot up within a few weeks the way they acted. Anyway we managed 40 on the clicker but only picked up 31. Have had two other phone calls reporting a lot of birds on different properties and hope they will hold till we can get after them. Good to bust some shells after settin in a tree for a few weeks.

Shooting 40 crows is way better than spending the afternoon in front of the TV set!
