"Brownie".. fully mounted and displayed! Am tickled at how good the mount looks, shows of the many tints of brown that cover this entire bird. Even his beak and feet are brown tinted! Brownie was harvested on Dec 7th, 2016 at 9:38 am.. very close to the time of the attack on Pearl Harbor on the same date in 1941. Thanks for Bob Irving for posting this as for some reason I could not convince my computer to do this!
I consider downing this rare bird the apex of my 60 years of crow hunting!
It looks like you are trying to emulate Barron Von Richthofen with the "Blue Max" around your neck in the crow photo? Did you get that award for shooting down that very special crow? I'm happy for you, you deserve a nice trophy like that with all the years you have put in to the sport. A big bravo for you mein heir.
Bob: Takes a special person to recognize the Blue Max! Yes, the Red Baron was a recipient too along with about 2-3 other German pilots in WWI but I am the only living recipient today!!! Fact is, this high honor and medal was awarded to me by the vaunted Texas Crow Patrol a few years ago! It was and is a special gift! And thank you for the kind remarks on my crow! It is now the center piece of my crow memorabilia!
