Here is a picture from earlier in Michigan's season...when we actually had some snow. This is the 4th year in a row that I shot a piebald from this same blind location.
Dont start asking me about genetics of birds around here, lets just give Lady Luck the credit on this.
This one worked in nice and tight, I could see the white in the wings before I shot.
Big Honker, still cold here and snow but lots of pairs moving north. Crows are tough and unseasonal below zero weather only slows them down a bit. Can hardly wait to bounce a few crow as I have not fired a shotgun since last November...

I've seen piebalds every year for two straight and no two alike! One was spotted and brown; the other had a primary white stripe almost half the wing underneath next to the left arm pit..sorry no trophies! But incredibly beautiful birds!
