The reason I am not in this photo when President Regan was in the White House in the mid 1980's is because this dinner was held in October! My father never forgave me for turning down a dinner with the President because it was "crow season" in Kansas. I told my dad I would love to attend at any other time of year, just not from October to February! That is my younger brother and my father in the photo.

With the volume of crows you shoot it wouldn't make any sense to go to the White House....now with my massive shoots of half a dozen here and there it would make sense for me to go but not you. If I were in your position? I too would stay in Kansas. You have nothing to be ashamed of. On another note a neice was getting married on the very day I'd go to western New York to see the Wings of Eagles annual event of WW2 aircraft. I told my mother to just video tape the wedding-I won't miss an event like WW2 aircraft for anything. In fact for the annual big day crow shoot I would skip just about anything and everything myself. Come to think of it I did!

Pete, you and my dad have similar feelings on this subject.
What I have learned over the years about presidents and congress amongst others to me there aren't any good "presidents" and very rare real American congressmen and women...furthermore you can tell if a president was good or not by if someone shot them or not. It meant they weren't a part of the dirty rat gang (Bohemian Grove).
As for Trump? I feel he takes orders too. There is no rhyme or reason to continue the Afghanistan War and occupying other nations ....are mountain dwelling sheep herders going to invade down town Los Angeles? I thought WW2 was over?

There's a good chance that LA would improve a great deal if mountain-dwelling sheep herders took over.

Donald J. Trump is now coming closer and closer to achieving an eclipse of Regan's accomplishments! If we can give him another 4 years, it will be a done deal, IMO!! You've got to love them both for what they have done for freedom in our country.

Demi, you are correct. An elected official actually doing what he said he'd do. The establishment doesn't like it. I do.
