While I haven't finished my packet for the local landowners, went and tried my luck at the State Forest. Found a nice place to use as a natural blind, set up Hootie and the Fish Crows and settled in. Action was fast at first then dropped off. Waited a little while and started blowing again. Well, those nasty boogers came back for more! I believe they had been issued body armor! Needless to say, I went o-fer! Now to let that spot rest... and hit 'em again next week!

Unless you have a steady influx of crows "next week" is too soon. It will burn it out.
