Hi Lefty, that could have been after he missed the bird that his head came up, I don't really remember. You make a good point, if your noggin is up just a wee bit you are going to shoot over the bird. So have ya done any hunting yet?
Now I have one year here sen more crows in one day than I had seen ever in my entire life to be sure but that huge number pales by comparison to what you have. I haven't been back to look by the way, the whole area forbids hunting due to signs plastered very where...anyways, highly likely none are around in that number specifically meaning NH and again-even in fall-nothing like your photographs but we have crows.. Ironic isn't it? The one area in the whole state where the numbers of crows in the fall are breathtaking and they don't allow any hunting at all. Now one farm wants to push their produce into this area of the state. Well we don't buy is the answer to that. No one has to buy from tree huggers. You buy from anti-hunters you finance your worst enemy.
And that doesn't make any sense to me. And if they hate hunting you can be sure they hate guns too. So who will finance the loss of their fire arms?

On a similiar note: here in this state we always have a "democrat" who always says they "believe" in the 2nd amendment to keep their firearms owning democrats in their corner. However their voting record despite 21,000 gun laws nationwide always contradicts this. We even have republicans who talk the same way then going so far as to shoot firearms like one senator who pushed a sweeping new gun law-how about that? She got whipped by a democrat who actually signed a pro gun bill in an election year-how about that? Guess who won? Anyways one congresswoman talked about "but we must have balance". What does that mean? It means more gun restrictions leading to a ban. Look what happened in Massachussettes..."Oh we only want to rid the streets of this type of firearm and you can keep the rest. Wow. What a huge lie that turned out to be! Somebody needs to carve out the state of Massachussettes and give it back to England!
Which brings us to so called "compromise"..it's where YOU give up this or that with the promise you get to keep less and less. You get to "keep" even wondering where government had the "right" to determine that in the first place.
Massachussettes legislature pulled a fast one some years back. The attorney general has the right-an unelected official even-to determine what is "acceptable" for citizens to own regarding firearms based purely on whimsical feelings bereft of facts. Now they are feeling the ever tightening stranglehold. And she hates guns but cannot do anything with the inner city youth at all who everything they want bereft any paperwork so she'll go after the gun owners. Typical.
I guess the moral of the story is the greatest guardian of your rights is YOU.
