While at the National Sporting Clays Championship last week I went in to see some vendors set up in a "mini mall" and while shopping, saw a video playing non-stop. I immediately recognized the clips to be your crow hunting adventures!
It was a dealer who was selling Tachyon GunCams. He had your videos on an endless loop and those crow shots were awesome!

That's awesome!! I wish there were events like that near me. I am so remote....four hours north of Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Tachyon actually asked me if I could put a compilation of GunCam clips together for them to use at an event in Cypress. Sounds like they used it here too! Cool that you recognized the footage. Thanks for letting me know!
Did you shoot in the event?

Yup, I shot...some of it in 20-30 mph winds, gusting to 40! It was fun, though, and we saw lots of friends. This is my 10th year going to the Nationals. The high point for me this year was posting a 44/50 in the 28 ga. FITASC, which put me in a 3-way tie for 2nd place in my age group. Couldn't stay for the shoot-off, so had to settle for 4th place (out of 106 shooters).
Speaking of Cyprus, I know a couple of shooters from there and shot the 2008 World FITASC in held at Limassol, Cyprus. That was quite an experience! Also, the people of Cyprus HATE crows and do a lot to kill all they can. It is even legal to shoot crows from moving vehicles there!
I have been to Green Bay a couple of times and many years ago spent a weekend with my father on Washington Island. That is beautiful country!

Jerry Byroad from Maryland always used to say ( when he saw hundreds sitting close to the road ) when we were driving around the back roads "hey lets do a drive by" he was just kidding.
I took a guy out a long time ago who wanted to shoot a sitting crow and I said "not with me" so he shot it any way and I never hunted with that gent again. If a guy has to shoot a bird sitting, what is the point?
Another screwball I once shared a blind with was down in Oklahoma many years ago. I had 19 on my counter and he had 6 so when he saw that I was way ahead he just starts clicking his clicker until it hit 19 on his and he says out loud "well that's about right" I will never forget that guy! I was saying to myself that guy does not even need to leave the house to get a good count in his deranged head!
Bob, don't blame you for not hunting with those guys. Me, Hootie and the Crow,Fish might not see many nasty boogers, but we'll take them in the air 1, 2, 3 or however many at a time! Just like pennies add up to dollars eventually. Honest.
