Good job Ben! I wish I was crow hunting this morning. They were ALL MESSED up over something out back this morning when I left the house. I saw 4 fly over the house as I stood there and listened. THEY DONT FLY OVER MY HOUSE.......they fly AROUND my house to get to the back area of my property......lol
Good job Ben.
Only got 19 this time.great setup.first few came in close then I guess they remembered last time
Yup, 10 days is rushing it if you are shooting the same orchard. Those birds can remember well beyond two weeks as I have seen, unless there are unusual circumstances such as a very brief 1st hunt, rain, high wind, etc. My rule of thumb is to wait a month, if possible.
Also, it has been helpful for me to set up in a different location within the orchard when returning for the next shoot. The same blind and decoy location will jog their memory and spook them.

I know of people who routinely ignored this rule and consistently got but one crow each time out until finally no crows at all...but not only that crows were skirting the outer most area and while answering the calls; were not even bothering to swing over or if they did; too high to shoot at; the very few that would..
