Crows robbing the nest's around here.

I saw several crows flying around with what looked to be half a hot dog in their beek but upon further investigation it was baby birds . then I noticed a bunch of scissortails attacking the Crow's even knocked one of the ground and kind of wounded it so apparently here in Oklahoma with all the birds hatching the crows are out robbing the nest's.

Aren't "sizzor tails" rare?

One year a commotion in a friends' yard....a mixture of grackles and red winged blackbirds and robins harassing this lone crow dripping egg goo from its' bill...it went from nest to nest as if it had a road map!! By "grackles" not boat tailed humongous grackles like you folks have...red winged blackbirds on the other hand are just a northern variation of your red shouldered blackbirds...

All I can tell you is that if they are a rare bird they're a little rarer now that the crows got a hold of them LOL. I've been seeing some different small birds going after the crows in the sky for the last couple weeks so apparently those crows are big-time Nest robbers, I never realize that.

Crows can and will eat anything which makes raising a baby crows such a snap...they are also highly efficient predators that will kill adult birds -even pigeons. Their big cousin the raven is the same way and they eat each others' young and eggs...I have seen crows mobbing ravens time and again...

Any birds eggs or youth they can capture will be eaten...

The nasty boogers "hunt" in pairs here. First one draws them off the nest and the trailer swoops in and gets what it can. Then, they head in the opposite direction and the trailer becomes the "bait" while the other robs the nests! They have it down to a science!!

60 days till season opens!!!

A couple years ago there was a proposed crow shoot on Marthas' Vineyard and the native rich flower children left wing almost hippy-oids all went mental even when it was shown that crows stood on the verge of wiping out-virtually annihilating very rare and endangered sea birds/shore birds whose name escapes me. But these would be wanna' be  green peace Taxachussettes carbon gas foot print crowd went mental-oh perish the thought-guns on the island?!?! The end result is unknown to me but  we can be sure it probably meant the end of those rare shore birds! Ah but for the wisdom of these enlightened sky is falling namby pamby twinkle toed lib tards!! Well i hope they all inhale their green house gas!

Its one thing the Lefties don't realize.. the birds are a meanace.

I have shot many birds that have fallen into our Elk pens but the animals absolutely attack and destroy the crows. I have to take a video of it to post one of these times.

Magpies, starlings, you name it they fall into the pen the animals don't move but as soon as  a crow falls into the pen they assault it on a level that would blow your mind..

I have shot crows that fell into the pens and the Elk will stomp on the dead bird, pick it up in thier teeth and toss it into the air as they stand on thier hind legs kicking thier front legs at the bird they toss into the air and then stomp on it again when it falls on the ground. Rinse and replete for 40 min to an hour. You can tell they sense any crow coming into the area they have newborn calves as a threat unlike any other, we have a fox that goes through the pen that they don't go after like this but then the fox doesn't peck out the eyes of the young like crows could if given the opportunity.

I suppose the brainwashed  leftie would say the Elk are racist and go after them because of their color, and dismiss these facts completely.

I really want to get some video of this just to show all the whiners and haters how nature deals with these pests.
