Basically asking BobA. because I think he used an A300 and what you liked and disliked about this shotgun.....would address the A400  at the same time.....and is there a way to increase shot capacity?

Tom, the only experience I have is with the Beretta model 391 Urika and the A - 400 Beretta. Both are very trouble free firearms. I will know later next fall about the A - 300 Beretta as my partner bought one to try out next fall. The model 391 fit me better and that's about it. I might not be right but I do not believe you can increase the shell capacity in the magazine tube on those guns because of the gas system.

I Google searched and got several links to websites. Briley makes one and sure others do too. Hope this helps

Thanks< /p> Gents : very useful information...I walked right by the A300s at my favorite gun store and was looking at the Francis (?) shotguns which I knew were high quality shotguns but was looking for an A300 as it came down in price but actually low end (so it was written) Beretta which was basically a "wanna'"be A400 but that was a bit out of my price range. Anyways I wanted a gun that digested everything without having to change the rings every time to satisfy my Remington 11-87 from high brass to low brass; and the A300 fit the bill. It also felt so well balanced compared to my 11-87 which didn't feel "right'; and I don't like that at all....but the 11-87 is still a great gun but not in my view a great crow gun but if it's al you have remember the best shotgun is the one you have with you! How ever I hit most crows I shot at with an 11-87 using #5s because I knew it would cycle my gun. You can be sure the A300 will be my crow buster this fall....
