They are easy and fast, but like all things there is a big but. That but is that they are kinda short but the versatility of the blind is why I deal with it being in the stubby side.

So are you typically sitting on a stool in there between volleys, to keep your head low? Or do you stand and hunker down when crows approaching? How tall are you and Paul? I'm considering picking one up. I've heard they go on sale in December usually.
I just bought panel blinds from Avery for waterfowl and pretty happy with them so far. Way more comfortable than layouts...which brings me to a thought, I wonder if anyone has ever used layout ("coffiin") blinds for crows? You wouldn't want to lay in them all day but for a quick shoot if you had something looked like it might not last, could work.
gt, I'm 5'11" & I stay seated on a swivel seat that's about as tall as a 5 gallon pail. I dont mind shooting sitting down but after a few hours i need to stand up for a while to adjust my aches and pains ! You can see in some of the video that i added some ornamental grass plumes to my blind to make it a little taller. Johnson grass or cattails ect. will work. the blinds have bands on them to hold the grass ect. By adding those plumes i just push them down or pull them up as needed to get the cover i need. I dont duck down in the blind unless i think Dale has a shot over me .
You bet, the portability is key for capitalizing on sudden flyway opportunities, and comes in mighty handy on pack in shoots.
Going to brush in the blind with grasses, or lean evergreen boughs into it to get a little extra height, but at 5'10 it's all good.
