Adding a speaker to my Foxpro Inferno
Permalink

Hello everyone,

I am searching for information on adding a speaker to my Foxpro Inferno. I have read several post on here about adding speakers to the smaller calls. Some of the posts say the call is louder and others say it isn‘t any louder, only clearer and now in stereo. I have looked at the SP60 and SP70 from Foxpro. The SP70 is huge compared to the SP60. The difference in these speakers other than size is the SP60 is a 10 watt while the SP70 is a 30 watt. I also don’t want it to drain the 4AA batteries in the inferno in 2 hours. So I may have to use a separate amplifier to increase the volume. If any one can help to point me in the right direction I would appreciate it greatly.

Thanks,

Matt Wyatt

Can I run my Inferno to an amplifier with an auxiliary cable and from the amp to the speakers to increase the volume? Will this hurts the Foxpro? I asked someone at Foxpro this and they said they didn’t know if it would hurt it or not.

Hi DW,

I'm no expert, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I'd think there'd be more of a chance to damage the speaker by over amplifying. Just my two cents. If you try it, let us know how it works.

I have a plan together. I should know if it works Monday or Tuesday on next week. I will post the results.
