Do you use the small metal stake provided with the ff5 or do you raise it up some, they seem to react to it fairly well as it is. Just wondering. The old charger from my old Johnny Stewart seems to do a good job of charging my 12v 7ah battery.
In my case, I use only the small stake and have not experimented with raising it. The big thing is motion, and I don't think it would matter where the motion is happening. Raising it up may also pose problems with battery connection and visibility of non-crow wire/stake. If you try it and see a difference, please let us know.
