Went out this morning with Larry The Master Machinist (really, he is) to see if any uneducated crows were lurking about. Went to a place we had not visited since 2020. Of ten within reasonable range we got six. So, a good hour + for us. However, there were many educated bandits which were up in the stratosphere checking us out, laughing. Beautiful bright (almost) full moon that always makes setup easier. Then a while later, a beautiful sunrise. 51 degrees—following a cold winter, that made for a really pleasant morning. Pretty typical setup with the folding blind, whirly, some in the trees, and some on the ground. One interesting bird was blind in one eye, as its right eye was covered over due to some disease--not uncommon. We’ll be going out again next week.

Oh yes, we did not shoot at any Irish birds. beer.gif beer.gif

Nice Report, Craig.  Great visual aids via the satellite photos and graphics. Thanks for posting.

You had the advantage on the blind crow.  The only blind crow I've killed was one on the highway that I hit with my truck! Yours and mine are now blind in both eyes! biggrin

Very nice photos of the sunrise, Craig. Thanks for the report and view of the set. Keep after 'em.
