Reloading bench project.
(Preview)
I'm new to this forum & reloading and don't have a lot to offer as far as knowledge in reloading. So I thought I would take a shot at what my set up is and how the project went together. I've been reloading .223, 22-250 & .204 for about a year now and have had very good success for about 3,000 rounds so...

Number of Decoys
(Preview)
Hello all, I am new to this forum, and new to hunting crows. I have a couple newbie questions. What is a good number of decoys to start with? Would six be a good number or should I get a dozen? Also, can you give me insight on a good quality, relatively inexpensive handcall to use? I plan on mainly using my...

500 before deer season
(Preview)
This morning I had so much to do to prepare for deer season 2mar. I could not stand it, the town crows were screamin. I wanted to have an even 500 before deer season break. I jumped in the truck and ran down to the Big Muddy river. It was cloudy and foggy and didn't look to promising. Pic one is from my hasty hid...

The Bear Facts
(Preview)
Yesterday I left the gun in the truck and figured on doing some pre rut bow hunting. While sitting in the tree stand, I watched a good twenty or so crows looking for a fight and making a ruckus. Right then and there I was wishing I was crow hunting instead. A little after that I had a doe walk behind me and sh...

Yesterday I hunted public ground scouted by a friend. We had a great shoot although the steel shot was a pain in the ass!!! We killed 64 birds. A game Warden snuck up and checked us cause he thought we were hunting ducks out of season. He gave us some info where he had sighted some crows the day before. We che...

Well I went out saturday afternoon with Dad,and we had a blast!!! The wind was bad so the shooting was tough!! Fox Pro CS-24L unit
(Preview)
I just tried the CS-24L unit on crows. On the first shoot I shot 218 crows but one of the crows hit the limb that one of the speakers was in. I picked it up and it quit working. I pulled out the battery pack that holds the 10 AA batteries and found that from the shock of hitting the ground it knocked a couple of ba...

Crow Hunt In Chopped Corn - Pics

Hello crowbuster brothers, I recently had a pretty successful hunt and thought I would share some pics as I always enjoy looking at the photos of others. If any of you should break off the integral post a Flambeau crow decoy stands on, save the broken piece. It can be successfully repaired with a hot glue gun and some black Fusion spray paint. It appears to me to be as strong or even stronger than the original.
