Crow hunting and hawks/owls

Me and a buddy went crow hunting saturday morning and we saw and heard three hawks close to our blind. They even flew over a few times.
Does the presence of hawks/owls help or hurt you while crow hunting.
If they hurt your hunting then how do you run them off whithout shooting at them?

Got after them Solo Thursday a:m an 10 plus degrees cooler helps a southern hunter out big time. Started slow, first one committed suicide after 6:30 then it got better. About 40 % were soft shots which I enjoy giving them the old "dose of hush up" the others were wild as bucks, great snap wing shooting....
