In my area even though the crows season had a few more weeks to go, the sight of the goshawk meant the big kills were over, that the season was over for me. Another area to the west, some 20 miles , all you'd see is red tailed hawks here and there and large fields -while feed was plentiful, not a crow in sight....

I will be using my Remington 870 and my old Mossburg 500. The 870 will have a full choke tube and the 500 will be sporting a 32 in vented rib full choke steel shot special. It is heavy as all get out, but it is a stone cold killer. May even throw in my Mossburg 835 for another backup. All are 12 guages.

Who on here crow hunts with a 20ga on a regular basis. I know Shane shoots one, but who else, and what do you think of them as far crow killing goes. I killed some last year with my wifes 20ga Win. pump. What I would like is a light weight semi auto, be it 12 or 20ga. And at a reasonable price also. Shayne

I found an old crow call while cleaning out my grandfather's shop. It is a Maywald Perefecawl. I am having a hard time finding any info on these. I know they were made in the 50's and 60's in Lombard illinois. I am wondering if it is worth anything???
