Do you shoot the same blind or change it up a little when you go back to a spot you have already shot? How long do you wait before returning to shoot again?

When comes the goshawks
(Preview)
In my area even though the crows season had a few more weeks to go, the sight of the goshawk meant the big kills were over, that the season was over for me. Another area to the west, some 20 miles , all you'd see is red tailed hawks here and there and large fields -while feed was plentiful, not a crow in sight....

What shotgun?
(Preview)
I will be using my Remington 870 and my old Mossburg 500. The 870 will have a full choke tube and the 500 will be sporting a 32 in vented rib full choke steel shot special. It is heavy as all get out, but it is a stone cold killer. May even throw in my Mossburg 835 for another backup. All are 12 guages.

I found one more pic of a crow I sniped with my 223
(Preview)
I was walking around the corner of the field from groundhog hunting and I spotted this bandit up in the tree. So I ducked into the corn field and moved around till I could get the trunk of the tree as a good backstop. I busted him at 170 yards offhand. I would like to think the shot was skill, but I'm sure luck...

Who shoots a 20ga?
(Preview)
Who on here crow hunts with a 20ga on a regular basis. I know Shane shoots one, but who else, and what do you think of them as far crow killing goes. I killed some last year with my wifes 20ga Win. pump. What I would like is a light weight semi auto, be it 12 or 20ga. And at a reasonable price also. Shayne

I found an old crow call while cleaning out my grandfather's shop. It is a Maywald Perefecawl. I am having a hard time finding any info on these. I know they were made in the 50's and 60's in Lombard illinois. I am wondering if it is worth anything???

Red Tailed Hawk decoy, with sox
(Preview)
Earlier this week, a couple of Forum comments from M12shooter (use a freshly dead crow in the talons) and Lonestarphil (stretch huge black sox over my home-made decoys) made me think of how to handle getting that first crow to come in to check out the red-tail hawk decoy that I received yesterday from A...

Got all my stuff together and loaded up last night. Woke up nice and early, let the dog out and headed to a close spot that is always good for a crow or two early season in hopes to get my dog a pre-duck season retrieve. Even got back out of bed last night and threw a few grouse loads in my bag as a swatter load to m...

Decoy Setups---Please share your best ones.
(Preview)
Hi fellas. I was wondering what decoy setups work best for everyone. Let's get into detail about this if we can. I think it would be beneficial to all the newbies, and the ol' vets too. How many dekes' does everyone use? Do you set them up in small groups, or spread out? How many do you hang in the trees? Ho...

First day of crow season in Virginia. I parked my truck at the bottom of the hill, loaded up my gear and headed to the top just as it was light enough to see. When I got to my small grove of trees I started unloading gear. Put my stool down with head net, gloves and shotgun on it. Put my gear bag a foot away fr...
